About the role
- Represent Medtronic CA Solutions as the point of contact for assigned accounts
- Responsible for sales, service, clinical / tech support
- Manage overall relationship between CA and account
- Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service Medtronic's CA Solutions’ products and services
- Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives
- Maintain knowledge of Medtronic CAS products and support sales efforts of same
- Coordinate customer activities at all meetings as assigned
- Complete administrative reporting as assigned (for example: expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, and inventory log)
- Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution, and pricing, as well as input on customer preferences and product features
- Cost-effectively manage time and assets
- Effectively utilize sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs
- Train and educate customers to gain incremental business and expand market
- Maintain proficient level of product knowledge in all assigned product lines
- Advise customers of changes and developments related to CAS products, indications, approvals, protocols and safety information
- Field-based role requiring driving to multiple accounts and up to 50% travel within assigned territory
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years medical industry sales experience (selling physician preference products) in hospital environment
- 3 years medical sales within the field of Cardiology hospital environment selling to electro physiologists in the EP/ Ablation market
- Valid driver's license
- Active vehicle insurance policy
- Driving record will be reviewed and considered as part of application
- Must produce or obtain an auto insurance policy
- Must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
- Up to 50% travel within the assigned territory
- Frequent required travel to customer clinics, hospitals and offsite meetings
- Ability to be independently mobile while performing duties
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
- Cath Lab / OR procedural observations as needed
- For sales reps and other patient facing field employees, comply with all credentialing requirements at the hospitals or clinics they support
- E-Verify participation for employment authorization verification
- Preferred: Master’s degree
- Preferred: Demonstrable success in previous employment indicating high level of sales performance
