Analyse and forecast short-term cash requirements and cash flows and assess cash management opportunities
Operate the monthly world-wide netting and maintain the intercompany (IC) loan portfolio
Maintain and issue contingent liabilities such as comfort letters, parental and bank guarantees
Report and monitor cash flow & currency exposure positions, bank charges, and interest income/expense
Provide customer finance/payment solutions and support ad hoc Treasury, Tax and Finance related projects
Maintain process documentation and support audit activities
Ensure adherence to Medtronic Worldwide Finance Policies and other internal policies and processes
Interact with Corporate Treasury, Tax, banking partners, businesses, global finance teams, Legal and suppliers
Use Reval Treasury Management System to record, analyse and process day to day transactions including intercompany loan registrations, intercompany netting, liquidity planning and daily cash management activities
Requirements
Bachelor or master’s in finance / accounting
0-3 years working experience in finance or in a similar role within a corporate environment
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Good analytical and interpersonal skills
Flexible and stress resistant
Ability to work in a complex, dynamic and fast changing environment
Accuracy and continuous improvement mindset
Functional knowledge of MS Office and tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate)
Business knowledge of cash management and banking in international (cash) pooling
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) considered an advantage
Knowledge of SAP considered an advantage
Experience with Treasury Management System (Reval) considered an advantage
