About the role
- Design and consistently execute on standard operating model of the division
- Ensure seamless delivery of BAU function process transactions and facilitate accurate and timely processing of daily prices and security setups
- Support execution of strategic business initiatives, workflow design, and implementation of department goals
- Ensure adherence to company policies and carry out special projects in a competent and cost effective manner
- Build strong working relationships with functional managers and develop product and business knowledge on Global security pricing
- Ensure steady flow of daily tasks, align backups, and maintain productivity standards
- Ensure quality assurance on critical functions and identify/manage risk and control breakdowns
- Manage relationships with internal teams, act as point of contact for escalations and high priority requests
- Maintain and publish weekly/monthly KPI and participate in discussions with onshore management
- Work with internal and external auditors on requests related to SOX, SOC1 or other regulatory audits and control analysis
- Conduct regular team meetings, 1:1s, coaching sessions, and manage performance management cycle
- Review market news, emails, and regulatory guidance to evaluate prices and take action to represent market value
- Manage projects and other initiatives as required
Requirements
- 10+ Years experience (Grade/Level: C14 / Ops / 10+ Years)
- Bachelor’s degree in business related major or equivalent experience
- Graduate-level courses in accounting, finance or management viewed favourably
- Previous Pricing or reference data experience within an investment bank
- Strong knowledge of asset pricing theory and probability; practical experience in fixed income pricing and reference data
- Familiarity with a wide array of financial product types like bond, equity or derivatives
- Knowledge and familiarity with Pricing data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters etc)
- Proficient in MS Office Applications, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Strong business acumen and ability to build partnerships with operational associates
- High degree of problem solving skills, attention to details, ability to multitask
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Understanding of components and calculation of net asset value (NAV)
- Experience with audit/regulatory frameworks (SOX, SOC1) and working with auditors
- People and resource management experience (people development, attrition, training, performance management)
- Ability to work various shifts to support APAC, EMEA, and NAM operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Crisis management experience and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
