About the role
- Lead development and delivery of business and technology programs to execute Diabetes operating unit e-commerce and digital marketing technology strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase profitability
- Provide front line leadership for development, design, delivery, and optimization of ecommerce & marketing technologies and systems supporting company business processes and objectives
- Perform analysis, selection, and modification of enterprise systems and application software to meet business needs
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery of services to user groups and ensure uninterrupted IT service
- Provide direction to protect company data, tools, and information systems
- Ensure infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility
- Provide motivational, thought, and technical leadership to the team
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive innovation
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize customer experience including website design, user designs and flows
- Communicate and conduct briefings with leadership regarding ongoing operations and strategic initiatives
- Create workforce and staffing plans, manage budget and allocate resources effectively
- Hire, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Nice to Haves: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or technical field and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience.
- Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple global teams
- Detailed functional and operational expertise in digital transformation and customer experience
- Proficient in delivering end to end enterprise solutions for digital marketing and ecommerce platforms leveraging AI solutions
- Knowledge in developing and presenting strategic vision and corresponding business values to leadership teams across IT, marketing, sales, and customer experience
- Strong experience working with content management systems (CMS) platforms (e.g., AEM, Drupal)
- Knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) systems
- Proven experience in digital marketing campaign management across multiple channels (email, social, search)
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Commercetools, etc.)
- Experience implementing advanced digital communication tools including SMS/email promotional campaigns and transactional communications
- Experience with AI-driven personalization
- Familiarity with chatbots and conversational AI
- Ability to design and optimize self-service features within online portals
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work in a matrix organization and influence strategy and outcomes
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
