About the role
- Lead scoping, technical design, and work planning during the presale process and speak with prospective clients about the firm's engineering and marketing capabilities
- Play the lead role in technical architecture and discovery projects, using consulting methods to refine product and technical architecture
- Own a technology vertical: solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership for Adobe solutions
- Serve as a roving catalyst to enhance existing project teams with architectural account-level guidance or subject matter expertise
- Engage with prospective clients, lead architecture efforts for new engagements, and collaborate with delivery teams to implement client solutions
- Provide estimates for team composition, build scope, and resource planning to ensure realistic scoping and staffing
- Ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with client business objectives; research and evaluate trends in marketing technology
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting services
- Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including architecture, component development, template design, workflows, and integrations
- Experience with at least one other Adobe platform (e.g., RT-CDP, Target, AJO, CJA, Commerce) and familiarity across the Adobe stack
- Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and platforms like Contentful and Contentstack
- Deep expertise in web architecture principles (RESTful and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, microservices)
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with architectural patterns (event-driven, serverless)
- Experience with performance optimization techniques, security best practices, and SEO considerations for web applications
- Experience delivering software in an agency/client-service environment
- Experience with commercial conversations involving budgets and fees
- Experience quickly iterating and refining a product vision and offering multiple approach options
- Skilled in software estimation, work planning, and building project plans within time/cost constraints
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
