Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals
Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate
Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies
Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services
Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems
Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives
Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities and providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up
Establishes and maintains customer relationships, develops new customer relationships, implements sales strategies and closes sales
Works independently with general supervision and may provide guidance to entry level sales professionals
Requirements
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A))
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area
Developing professional expertise and ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
Working knowledge of company products and services
Ability to comply with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees
Ability to travel and work within an assigned geographic territory and/or specific customer accounts
Participation in or compliance with employer employment authorization checks (employer participates in E-Verify)
