About the role

  • Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals
  • Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate
  • Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems
  • Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives
  • Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities and providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships, develops new customer relationships, implements sales strategies and closes sales
  • Works independently with general supervision and may provide guidance to entry level sales professionals

Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A))
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area
  • Developing professional expertise and ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
  • Working knowledge of company products and services
  • Ability to comply with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees
  • Ability to travel and work within an assigned geographic territory and/or specific customer accounts
  • Participation in or compliance with employer employment authorization checks (employer participates in E-Verify)
