About the role
- Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development
- Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise
- May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials
- Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products
- Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results
- May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals
- Builds multi-disciplinary models to assess design risk and ensure device and system reliability and safety
- Provides robust performance predictions and insights for design decisions
- Works within Structural Heart and Aortic R&D organization focused on transcatheter replacement or repair of heart valves and stent grafts
Requirements
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A)) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- May have practical knowledge of project management
- Ability to work on-site in Mounds View, MN three days a week
- Must comply with credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees (if applicable)
- Participation in E-Verify program to confirm identity and employment authorization
