About the role
- Supervising Territory Managers, Associate Territory Managers, and Clinical Specialists within their assigned district and achieving sales objectives for that district
- Promotes and sells Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders
- Provides clinical and technical support during cases and informs the clinician of patient treatment options
- Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors’ activities
- Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience; or Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience
- 10+ years of Medical Device experience with 5 years of Neurovascular or Neurosurgery
- 3+ years of Sales Management experience
- Experience in leading teams in a complex work environment.
- Preferable clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response
- Experience in medical sales, preferably focused on interventional procedures
- Strategic and analytical thinker
- Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
