About the role
- Independently researches, analyzes, and resolves routine clinical account–related administrative issues and inquiries, collaborating with Clinical Account Managers and internal partners as appropriate.
- Assists Clinical Account Managers with day-to-day administrative duties, including monitoring and managing Clinical Team Help Desk requests and CAM-tagged issues.
- Triages incoming communications requiring Clinical Account Management input, including assisting with management of shared CAM group email inboxes and other intake channels.
- Categorizes and prioritizes requests based on urgency, clinical relevance, and required level of CAM involvement.
- Collaborates on projects involving gathering, organizing, and tracking clinical account data, documentation, and workflows.
- Interprets and communicates clinical operational processes and administrative workflows to assist with issue resolution and process improvement.
- Assists with administrative components of specialty review authorization processes, including specialty pharmacy assignment.
- Supports intake, review, submission, and tracking of specialty review authorization administrative applications.
- Coordinates with Pharmacy, Clinical, Operations, and Account Management teams to facilitate timely processing of requests.
- Works with Clinical Account Managers on new client, vendor, and clinical program onboarding tasks.
- Creates and maintains internal materials including templates, job aids, and training documentation.
- Contributes to CRM maintenance, reporting support, and workflow enhancement projects.
- Maintains confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Associate degree in business, communications, or related area or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Strong time management and prioritization skills in an environment that can present frequent interruption
- Demonstrated desire to learn new information and share knowledge amongst the team and cross-functionally
- Strong organizational skills to compile, track, and complete tasks independently and cross-functionally
- Proactively communicate task and issue status with clarity and concision
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to exercise discretion with sensitive clinical information.
