About the role
- Oversee a team of logistic specialists, managers and directors
- Maintain positive relationships with regional customers
- Provide expertise in establishing logistical requirements for the RFP process
- Conduct business reviews with established customers
- Conduct customer assessments to identify new business opportunities
- Work with local distribution branches for program rollouts
- Spearhead efficiency and improvement initiatives for logistics
- Manage through multiple managers and provide leadership for major departments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- Minimum of 7 years of overall experience within Sales including Logistic consulting and Supply Chain experience in the healthcare industry
- At least 4 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring and developing staff
- Experience negotiating contracts and resolving service issues
- Proficiency in project management
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Position requires travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes
