Account Executive

• Prospect new publisher opportunities in all verticals that qualify for Mediavine and all of its programs and offerings
• Pitch the Mediavine solution and close business that meets or exceeds the numbers given by the VP of Publisher Development
• Effectively build and manage individual pipelines by maintaining active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up generating increased interest and excitement
• Have a deep understanding of the ad tech landscape
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Mediavine’s products and services
• Actively reach out to web properties that align with Mediavine’s quality standards
• Establish, build, and maintain relationships with clients, and serve as a sounding board/point of contact for the clients you’ve helped to onboard
• Participate in strategic calling and messaging to identify new business opportunities
• Effectively manage inbound lead flow as well as execute outbound prospecting initiatives
• Establish the priorities of prospect outreach and the order of approach
• Lead introductory/ discovery calls with publishers
• Collaborate and contribute to the success of the publisher development and publisher success team
• Stays current on competitors and industry trends while proactively sharing knowledge with the team
• Assist as a point of escalation for issues that may arise, as needed

• Manage an established portfolio of publishers, focusing on retention and growth.
• Take on new accounts, build rapport, and foster trust and long-term partnerships.
• Proactively assess potential risks of churn and implement solutions to ensure ongoing success.
• Advocate for publisher needs, addressing feature and data requests, reporting, and tools.
• Use cohort data, trend analysis, and projections to provide tailored recommendations.
• Deliver periodic business reviews and performance reports.
• Maintain consistent and personalized communication with each publisher.
• Monitor client social accounts to celebrate publisher successes and milestones.
• Collaborate with Support Specialists and Engineers to resolve day-to-day issues.

Account Manager, Publisher Success

Full-stack Engineer

• Lead and execute multiple concurrent projects across the AdTech stack — web wrapper features, OpenRTB server enhancements, SSP integrations, A/B test rollouts, and privacy/consent work — owning them from technical design through deployment and post-launch validation
• Act as a lead on initiatives spanning multiple teams: write technical design docs, drive review discussions, coordinate with Ad Operations and SRE, and keep stakeholders informed as the work progresses (especially when scope or timelines shift)
• Contribute high-quality code that requires minimal correction in review across our JavaScript/TypeScript wrapper, our Rust s2s exchange, and the supporting tooling that surrounds them
• Design, ship, and analyze A/B experiments — translating revenue, viewability, and Core Web Vitals signals into actionable conclusions
• Build and maintain integrations with our SSP partners, diagnose integration issues end-to-end, and improve the efficiency of our supply paths
• Respond to production incidents — diagnose header bidding, GAM/MCM, or wrapper behavior with appropriate urgency, and follow up with durable fixes
• Effectively leverage modern AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and similar) to accelerate research, prototyping, code review, and debugging — and help the team raise its overall sophistication in their use
• Provide meaningful, critical feedback in code reviews and mentor peers through pairing, design conversations, and PR review
• Participate in sprint planning, scoping, and estimation, and contribute to team strategy beyond just the work in front of you
• Stay current on the ad tech ecosystem — Prebid evolutions, GAM and MCM changes, privacy regulations, identity solutions, and AI-driven supply trends

Software Engineer II

• Create data pipelines that make data available for analytic and application use cases
• Develop self-healing, resilient processes that do not require constant care and feeding to run smoothly
• Create meaningful data quality notifications with clear actions for interested parties including other internal teams and other members of the data and analytics team
• Leading projects from a technical standpoint, creating project Technical Design Documents
• Support data analysts and analytics engineers ability to meet the needs of the organization
• Participate in code reviews, understanding coding standards, ensuring test coverage and being aware of best practices
• Build or implement tooling around data quality, governance and lineage, in the dbt framework and Snowflake but external to that as needed
• Provide next level support when data issues are discovered and communicated by the data analysts
• Work with data analysts and analytics engineers to standardize transformation logic in the dbt layer for consistency and ease of exploration by end users
• Enable analytics engineers and data analysts by providing data modeling guidance, query optimization and aggregation advice
