Data Engineer

• Create data pipelines that make data available for analytic and application use cases
• Develop self-healing, resilient processes that do not require constant care and feeding to run smoothly
• Create meaningful data quality notifications with clear actions for interested parties including other internal teams and other members of the data and analytics team
• Leading projects from a technical standpoint, creating project Technical Design Documents
• Support data analysts and analytics engineers ability to meet the needs of the organization
• Participate in code reviews, understanding coding standards, ensuring test coverage and being aware of best practices
• Build or implement tooling around data quality, governance and lineage, in the dbt framework and Snowflake but external to that as needed
• Provide next level support when data issues are discovered and communicated by the data analysts
• Work with data analysts and analytics engineers to standardize transformation logic in the dbt layer for consistency and ease of exploration by end users
• Enable analytics engineers and data analysts by providing data modeling guidance, query optimization and aggregation advice

Data Engineer II

Operations

• Lead day-to-day monetization operations across PMP/deal workflows, SSP coordination, and revenue execution
• Help manage and optimize programmatic monetization infrastructure across Google Ad Manager, header bidding, Open Bidding, and SSP integrations
• Support yield optimization initiatives including floor strategy, marketplace optimization, auction dynamics, and demand path analysis
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to improve automation, operational tooling, and monetization workflows
• Support and help scale monetization operations across emerging channels and formats, including mobile app and in-app advertising environments
• Build scalable operational processes that reduce manual overhead and improve organizational efficiency
• Monitor revenue performance, discrepancies, and marketplace health across partners and products
• Coordinate with SSPs, DSPs, and external monetization partners on troubleshooting, integrations, and strategic initiatives
• Support enterprise publisher monetization initiatives and custom revenue solutions
• Help evolve Mediavine’s monetization systems and operational architecture as AI and automation capabilities continue to mature
• Serve as a key escalation and decision-making resource across monetization operations

Senior Manager, Monetization Strategy & Operations

Director

• Translate executive and business priorities into clear, sequenced, and actionable product roadmaps
• Own and manage the company’s prioritization and delivery processes to ensure teams remain focused on the highest-impact initiatives
• Lead quarterly planning, sprint planning, prioritization reviews, and ongoing execution cadences across cross-functional teams
• Evaluate team capacity and resource allocation across Engineering, Design, Product, and related functions to support sustainable and efficient delivery
• Identify competing priorities, delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early, driving tradeoff decisions when necessary
• Ensure projects are properly scoped, prioritized, and prepared before entering development
• Track progress against timelines, milestones, and business outcomes while maintaining visibility and accountability across initiatives
• Partner closely with Engineering leadership to improve execution quality, delivery consistency, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Design, Revenue, Operations, and executive stakeholders
• Establish and refine scalable operational processes and planning frameworks that improve throughput and predictability without creating unnecessary overhead
• Maintain clear visibility into roadmap status, active initiatives, dependencies, risks, and sequencing decisions
• Leverage delivery metrics, KPIs, and operational insights to improve planning accuracy and execution effectiveness
• Reduce organizational thrash and unstructured work by reinforcing prioritization discipline and execution focus
