About the role
- Responsible for growing Medela’s presence across Western and Northern Canada
- Partnering with hospitals and healthcare professionals to expand the use of our solutions
- Building new relationships and developing new business opportunities
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, clinicians, and procurement teams
- Collaborating internally with marketing and customer support teams to deliver exceptional service
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by implementing sales and marketing strategies
- Create strong relationships with key healthcare professionals
- Identify and develop new KOL’s to increase Medela’s position in the clinical environment
- Organize and support evaluations, implementations, and in-servicing activities
- Prepare and conduct comprehensive business reviews with all major accounts
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience selling medical devices to hospitals
- Surgical OR experience, training surgeons and nurses on how to use products
- Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
- University degree in a related field such as in Science or Business
- Clinical background preferred
- Ability to travel within territory, travel required: 50-70%
- Ability to use consultative selling techniques to drive sales opportunities with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to identify and resolve complex problems with all channels of customers
- Must possess excellent professional written and verbal communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the customer
- Good computer and internet skills, software experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI
- Proficiency with Salesforce and SAP.
