About the role
- Lead and oversee the operationalization of drug formularies, price files, policies and procedures, ensuring accurate implementation of public and private drug benefit plans.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team, overseeing performance, growth, and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute the national Pharmacy Provider strategy, including negotiating pharmacy agreements and supporting POS implementation.
- Strengthen relationships with pharmacies, vendors, and key industry stakeholders across Canada.
- Support PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) strategic initiatives, contributing to process improvements and optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
- Experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or clinical environments considered an asset.
- 5–7 years of management experience in operational environments.
- Deep knowledge of pharmacy or drug benefits management.
- Experience in group insurance or the insurance industry is an asset.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required to meet business needs.
