Oversee Front-End and Back-End developers
Monitor system reliability, performance and security
Conduct regular check-ins with Engineering team members
Assist in rolling out and defining internal systems and policy
Align squad-based goals with Engineering and Product objectives
Assist in debugging code issues and fixing problematic code and architecture problems
Taking point on technical design of solutions
Collaborate with Product and QA peers to deliver value to customers

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the Saas space
Education or training in computer science or equivalent experience
2 + years of experience leading an engineering team
Experience with Ruby and or React
Strengths in communication, collaboration, organization, etc.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
Willingness to travel occasionally; valid passport with no travel restrictions (Canada/USA; Vietnam if required)
