About the role
- Examine financial reports, schedules and supporting documentation
- Participate in planning sessions with accounting teams
- Enter, organize and analyze financial and billing data
- Conduct investigations to trace funds and identify assets
- Verify claims data against source documents
- Contribute to the assessment of insurance claims and economic damages
- Support litigation files, business valuations and property-related claims
- Prepare summaries and reports based on findings from financial analyses
- Conduct research on industries and companies
- Perform any additional tasks required by your line manager
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Prior internship experience is an asset
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Bilingual English-French required; proficiency in additional languages is an asset
