About the role
- Manage end-to-end integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
- Create detailed functional requirements for integration solutions based on clinical and technical needs
- Validate laboratory data integrity during migrations and interface implementations
- Act as the primary liaison between clinical teams, IT, and vendors to translate clinical requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure all integrations comply with HIPAA, CLIA, and organizational security standards
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in healthcare IT or clinical system integration
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Clinical Laboratory Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certification in healthcare integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience managing teams or projects
- Strong understanding of clinical laboratory terminology, CPT codes, LOINC, and lab workflows
- Hands-on experience with LIS, EHR systems, and integration engines (e.g., Cloverleaf, Mirth)
- Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
