• Manage all aspects of the U.S. benefits program, including self-insured medical coverage, dental insurance, vision insurance, long- and short-term disability, life insurance, etc.
• Assist employees in troubleshooting and resolving problems related to all benefits programs, liaising with the insurance carriers or broker as appropriate
• Assist employees requesting leave or on leave to coordinate use of sick balances, family and medical leave (FMLA), disability, etc.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment activities, including employee Q&A sessions, broker communication, communication with vendors, checking and updating the HRIS with the vendor.
• Reconcile insurance benefits bills and submits and ensures payments to.
• Manage international benefits programs, in conjunction with other HR staff, depending on workloads.
• Support employee wellness initiatives, researching and provide information.
• Draft employee communications regarding benefits, maintain HR's online resource center with news, FAQs, etc.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned recruitment requisitions, including posting jobs in MCD’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), placing external ads, scheduling interviews, conducting reference and background checks, preparing offer letters, and initiating onboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance during the new hire process, including conducting I-9 verifications, and assists with annual compliance trainings.
• Establish and maintain electronic HR files.

HR Associate – Benefits Specialist

Project Manager

• Provide leadership in the development of annual and monthly activity plans and monitor their implementation, ensuring performance to plan.
• Support project teams in meeting their reporting and communications requirements.
• Coordinate across the organization to ensure that project teams get the requisite support in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the project is operating compliantly with funder contract.
• Establish systems for efficient management of subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate start-up and close-out of projects, including serving as Team Leader and/or traveling to country if required.
• Ensure timely implementation and adoption of centralized digital data collection systems across all country programs.
• Ensure country teams meet data quality standards and programmatic data informs adaptive management decisions.
• Work with PALU and technical teams to analyze program data and identify opportunities for course correction or scaling of activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators to track project progress and impact.
• Develop monthly and annual budgets and work with project leadership to ensure that each project is spending +/- 90% to plan.
• Supervise 4 country leads, including the provision of ongoing coaching, performance management and carrying out bi-annual appraisals.
• Identify new business opportunities by understanding market trends and donor interest.
• Cultivate relationships with private sector actors, foundation staff, bi-lateral and multi-lateral funders based on shared interests.

Senior Project Manager, Global Health

• The Senior Project Manager (SPM) works across the organization to ensure the quality, compliant implementation of the existing portfolio of global health projects in Gabon, Madagascar, Mozambique, and Niger.
• The SPM ensures that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet both donor requirements and MCD’s quality standards for project management, data collection and dissemination, and publication of results in peer-reviewed journals.
• Cultivate relationships with potential funders, writing proposals, and winning new business that aligns with MCD’s core competencies.
• The SPM will supervise 4 country-based project leads. This position requires approximately 10% international travel.

Senior Project Manager

Chief Operating Officer

• Provide leadership to MCD’s Finance function, providing direct/indirect supervisory oversight to the finance team.
• Provide mentoring and technical support to Finance department staff on finance and accounting principles including GAAP accounting rules, nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Periodically review and revise financial policy, procedure, and controls to maximize effectiveness and mitigate risk.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of regular and ad hoc financial information provided to staff members, the Board of Directors, funders, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide leadership for the annual budgetary process and subsequent reforecasting and establishing quarterly programmatic business reviews. Establish budget policies in alignment with direction from the Board of Directors and CEO. Ensure MCD’s expense budget maximizes the impact of funds spent. Advises International Programs and U.S. Programs on project budgets, including optimal revenue and expenses timing and flow.
• Monitor MCD’s cash position and ensures availability of cash. Anticipates and raises issues as needed in a timely manner.
• Support and advise the MCD Investment Subcommittee of the Board.
• Provide leadership to MCD’s Program Operations function, including ensuring mentoring and technical support to staff.
• Ensure Program Operations are compliant with national, state, and local regulations in all jurisdictions where MCD Global Health operates.
• Provide leadership to the start-up and close out of large-scale projects.
• Remain abreast of the security situation and ensure security plans are in place and carried out in all geographies where MCD operates.

Communications

• The Program Communications Coordinator will manage internal and external communications for the School Oral Health Program (SOHP) to support outreach, education, and stakeholder engagement.
• Essential duties include: developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive communications plan.
• Creating, editing, and distributing program materials including flyers, newsletters, reports, presentations, and website updates.
• Coordinating outreach campaigns and events to raise awareness of SOHP services among schools, families, community partners, and the public.
• Serving as the primary contact for program-related communications, responding to inquiries from schools, partners, and media as appropriate.
• Collaborating with program staff to gather stories, photos, data, and updates that highlight program impact.
• Ensuring all communications are consistent with SOHP’s mission, brand standards, and contractual obligations.
• Tracking engagement metrics and preparing communications performance reports for program leadership.
• Maintaining an organized library of communication resources, templates, and program media assets.
