About the role
- Guiding clients through the OCM process for medium- and large-scale projects including systems implementations.
- Facilitation of stakeholder focus groups and surveys.
- Identification of change benefits, potential impacts, and risks.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Development of OCM plans, communication plans, training plans, and other key OCM related plans.
- Refining communication plans and development of content.
- Creation of training materials and delivery of training to client teams.
- Planning and facilitation of OCM teams and ongoing meetings.
- Assessment of readiness for change, and potential points of resistance.
- Coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure a unified vision of OCM and successful change implementation.
Requirements
- 4+ years OCM experience as an external, professional OCM consultant.
- Prosci change management practitioner certification.
- Experience performing organizational change management as part of system implementation projects.
- Candidates must reside in the Puget Sound area or Portland/Vancouver area.
- Candidates must have experience working in public sector.
- Experience facilitating teams.
- Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to senior-level staff.
- Client relationship management skills.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience facilitating remote meetings.
- 3+ years’ experience with project management (preferred).
- Experience with public utilities or educational institutions (preferred).
- Experience with process improvement (preferred).
- Experience with Visio or Lucid Chart (preferred).
