About the role
- **What you’ll be doing**
- - Serve as the **primary HR partner** for a dedicated portfolio of clients.
- - Provide clients with HR advisory support including employee relations issues, conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, etc.
- - Advise on long-term people strategy as we our clients move from startup to growth stage
- - Conduct HR audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
- - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- - Identify opportunities to expand services and upselling within client accounts.
- - Stay current on employment law updates and HR trends to keep clients compliant and competitive.
- - Mentor junior consultants and advisors and contribute to the firm’s growth and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- **What you Bring**
- - 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including client-facing consulting roles.
- - Experience working with startups is an asset.
- - Degree focused in Human Resources Management, or relevant HR certification
- - CHRL or similar certification strongly preferred.
- - Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
- - A thought leader who can appropriately challenge a client and ask thought-provoking questions.
- - High degree of confidentiality and professionalism, and an ability to build strong working relationships across various disciplines.
- - Excellent communication skills and ability to convey new information in an easy to understand manner
- - Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize. Recognition of the importance of attention to detail and quality results in all that we do.
- - An inquisitive approach in questioning the status quo
- - A learning and growth mindset – always looking for ways to improve and step up your game!
- - An agile approach to tackling HR projects & deliverables that vary (strategic & tactical)
- - Ability to work independently, build systems from the ground up, and adapt quickly to change.
