About the role

  • Manages and oversees all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget.
  • Overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables.
  • Develops detailed project plans.
  • Implements and supports 3rd party applications.
  • Monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports.
  • Evaluates and manages risk.
  • Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of technology and occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • PMP Certification desirable.
  • 2-4 years of directly related experience.
  • Experience as System Admin, Service Desk, Incident Manager or other technical roles desirable.
  • Seasoned experience in managing software development projects using Traditional and Agile Development methodologies.
  • Experience in managing infrastructure projects (hardware upgrades, new data centers, network communications, disaster recovery sites, etc.).
  • Experience in implementing vendor software.
  • Software development experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including Sharepoint, Teams, Copilot, and Projects.
  • Knowledge of JIRA software.
  • Azure Cloud project experience.
  • Retail Pharmacy / Pharmacy Benefit Management desirable.
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Proven experience in people management.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning.
  • Proven experience in risk management.
  • Proven experience in change management.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Conflict Management skills.
  • Planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
