About the role

  • Settlement and balancing of various Payment networks like Visa, MasterCard, and MasterCard debit switch.
  • Handling EBC systems.
  • Handling Vision Plus system (Credit Card).
  • Review/authorize settlement entries on the system.
  • Reconcile GLs on a daily base, and prepare monthly GLs proof.
  • Process disputes related to EBC transactions.
  • Coordinate for disputes related to Master Card.
  • Coordinate other areas related to Card Ops– like card production, delivery etc.
  • Coordinate with Courier Vendors for Visa Debit and credit MasterCard delivery.
  • Handle Credit Cardholder requests including address change, card reissuance, PIN reissuance, balance transfer, EPP, reversal entries, limit changes, card upgrading/downgrading, and account transfer.
  • Perform monthly manual review to all credit card accounts to ensure the direct debit run has been processed successfully.
  • Develop programs by access file to facilitate the process (examples: ATM card delivery, ATM settlement, credit card status, Julian date convertor).
  • Prepare monthly Department MIP (Monthly Information Package).
  • Prepare and update department SOPs.
  • Download EBC report and forward to UAE Card Ops team.
  • Process EBC/VISA/Onus disputes including processing of surplus reported by switch settlement desk.
  • Prepare MIS for settlement and claim. Assist in VISA settlement including NNSS.
  • Coordinate for disputes with EBC, branches, UAE card disputes team.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of Interchange and financial settlements acquired by working in the units in card operaitons.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES AND systems.
  • Experience with EBC systems.
  • Experience with Vision Plus (Credit Card) system.
  • Experience processing disputes related to EBC and MasterCard.
  • Ability to reconcile GLs on a daily basis and prepare monthly GL proof.
  • Experience coordinating with courier vendors for card delivery.
