Oversee full lifecycle of repair and maintenance requests through the ticketing system (proposal review and approval, vendor dispatch, execution oversight, invoicing) ensuring timeliness and cost-effectiveness
Coordinate execution of daily tasks and general upkeep of Industrious facilities; manage work order coordination, database management, and stakeholder communication
Lead clear, proactive communication with technicians and internal stakeholders (Member Experience Managers, General Managers, Regional Directors)
Analyze work order trends, vendor performance, and cost drivers; provide regular reports and business insights to inform operational strategy
Respond swiftly to emergencies and maintain proactive preventative maintenance programs
Validate vendor submissions, enforce administrative accuracy, and hold partners accountable to quality, safety, and brand standards
Conduct site audits and location visits to assess brand alignment, document deficiencies, and drive resolution
Escalate issues with judgment while maintaining ownership and accountability for outcomes
Maintain and evolve knowledge assets (tracking tools, SOPs, checklists, department files) to drive consistency and continuous improvement
Support expansion and growth by overseeing facilities onboarding for new locations and ensuring smooth integration into existing systems
Manage and track the facilities operating expense budget; monitor spend against forecast and provide reporting to leadership
Champion a culture of excellence and accountability by elevating standards, coaching colleagues and vendors, and driving continuous improvement
Requirements
3 - 5 Years of work experience in facilities and business operations
Foundational understanding of or exposure to facilities
Core understanding of the trades that support maintenance, repairs and overall functionality of a facility
Reliable self-starter who has the ability to work independently
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to connect well with people; warm and approachable
Enjoys continuous change and improvement
Experience in ticketing management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
Experience in Google Drive/Dropbox file management
Experience in Google Sheets/Excel to promote data integrity
Must reside within easy commuting distance of locations around NYC
Benefits
The annual base compensation range for this role is between $85,000 - $95,000.
