About the role
- Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires in the US and international team members.
- Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and company policies.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and general company policies.
- Partner with managers to navigate employee lifecycle events, including leaves of absence, promotions, and internal transfers.
- Constantly look for ways to automate or improve our internal People processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Ops, or an HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with managing international contractors or employees through EOR platforms (e.g., Deel, Remote, or Rippling).
- An almost obsessive attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
- A high degree of comfort with ambiguity.
