About the role
- Provide support to the marketing operations within offices across the region
- Ensure the retention and acquisition of quality clients
- Prepare submissions for carrier partners
- Prepare client presentation materials
- Ensure complete and consistent documentation in system of record
- Review submissions from Service Team
- Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery
- Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons
- Prepare program proposals
- Record and maintain all information accurately on appropriate systems
- Review program binders for accuracy against quotes
- Assist marketing team with bind orders to carriers
- Participate in regular marketing meetings to discuss marketing opportunities
- Work with producers and service staff in day-to-day marketing of new & renewal commercial lines business
- Collect, distribute and track agency performance with carrier partners
- Keep team informed of carrier personnel, underwriting and appetite changes
- Act as an advisor for producers on sales calls with clients
- Participate in prospect and client calls
- Provide Business Insurance expertise to producers on client specific issues
- Provide direct customer service to the client on accounts
- Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks
- Ensure that quality and compliance procedures are adhered to
- Participate in discussions on renewal strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Property and casualty coverage and risk management knowledge
- Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal and sales-related skills in dealing with Producers, Client Executives, Carriers, and Clients
