About the role
- Provide quality property, auto, and liability (PAL) claims consulting services to MMA Michigan clients.
- Obtain claim status updates from carrier partners.
- Provide suggestions and recommendations to adjusters to assist with claim resolutions.
- Develop claims management strategies with clients and document activity.
- Help clients reduce the cost of claims and provide necessary information for the best claims management approach.
- Train and act as an educational resource for clients.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of PAL claims experience including strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Prior success and experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management and peers.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service-related skills.
- Proficiency in MS office applications required.
- AIC, ARM, CIC or CRM, equivalent preferred.
