About the role
- Conducting client-based project work related to requests for proposals
- Facilitating the interaction among key stakeholders
- Overseeing the analysis of the RFP results and producing a compelling story from the data collected
- Collaborating with both internal and external contacts to remain on schedule, resolve issues, and enhance the overall experience and value that Mercer brings to its clients
- Performing critical client functions, including evaluating risks, developing solutions, articulating impact of options, and making recommendations to client teams
- Assisting with leading the coordination of the RFP process among multiple project teams
- Serving as a key contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard client questions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years of client services experience in insurance or consulting in health & benefits
- Working knowledge of the Medical Request for Proposal process
- Excellent project management experience
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
