About the role

  • Serve as the Medical Lead for the NGT team, providing expert guidance on all medical questions related to AI/ML applications.
  • Evaluate third-party software tools essential for image labeling and quality control.
  • Ensure the quality and usability of AI/ML interfaces for end-user medical professionals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and NGT teams to determine the release of AI/ML findings to clinics.
  • Lead training initiatives for radiologists on labeling protocols, AI/ML interfaces, quality control, and assessment development.
  • Develop educational materials, including presentations and videos for hospital onboarding, covering: Introduction of new products and product features, Workflow and case submission processes, Overview of research and development activities.
  • Act as the primary medical contact for client inquiries.
  • Partner with Educational, Marketing, and Sales teams to create multimedia educational resources for end users.
  • Provide training to Sales teams on the medical impact of new products.
  • Create and proofread educational, marketing and guideline documents.
  • Oversee the complete and accurate development of AI models, including testing new models.
  • Evaluate precision and accuracy metrics to approve new findings for hospital release.
  • Review labeling accuracy and radiologist interaction with AI interfaces.
  • Ensure assessments are meaningful and add value to diagnostic reports.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to gather and evaluate customer feedback on interface usability and report quality.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Medical Doctorate (DVM or equivalent) with diplomate status in veterinary radiology (DACVR or equivalent).
  • Preferred experience in research and development of AI/ML applications for diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan and facilitate organized and productive meetings/ workgroups.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects with competing priorities and aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Passion for helping people and animals.
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and management.
  • Ability to work independently, including remotely, using various platforms to stay connected with colleagues, clients and management.
  • Fluency in English.
