About the role

  • Drive, convert, and service shelters in the Mars Adopt a Pet Shelter Plus program with excellence.
  • Lead business development by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting new shelters.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing shelter accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement with our holistic program and food delivery services.
  • Provide tailored solutions that meet shelter needs and foster long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Previous experience in the Veterinary or Animal Welfare space.
  • 2+ year's experience in sales and managing accounts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • A passion for making a better world for pets.
  • Relationships and understanding of the Shelter & Rescue Network (experience with Shelters preferred).
  • Passionate about serving and working across the Mars Ecosystem including pet nutrition, veterinary care, & diagnostics.
  • 60% travel required.
