About the role
- Partner with a new CTO to enhance leadership capabilities and the overall Marqetan experience for our Technology teams
- Provide leadership coaching, driving change management initiatives, and ensuring successful adoption of various programs
- Contribute to the Technology organization's development, supporting leaders and teams in navigating complex environments
- Partner with the CTO and leadership team to define and implement standards for high-performance engineering teams
- Foster seamless cross-functional collaboration across the People Experience organization
- Enable confident, data-informed decisions on complex people and organizational issues
- Elevate leadership effectiveness by coaching senior executives on talent strategy and employee experience
- Lead Marqeta-wide people initiatives by providing HR expertise and executing performance management initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience as a People Business Partner (HRBP) or in other talent roles
- At least 5 years focused on partnering with technical leaders/organizations, ideally within a technology company
- Experience in driving change management, leadership changes, organization design, talent strategy, performance management, coaching, executive relationship building
- Analytical mindset and deep understanding of organizational dynamics
- Experience designing org structures and rethinking performance management
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience; advanced degree in Human Resources or related area + PHR/SPHR preferred
- Experience supporting C-suite leader(s)
