About the role

  • Partner with a new CTO to enhance leadership capabilities and the overall Marqetan experience for our Technology teams
  • Provide leadership coaching, driving change management initiatives, and ensuring successful adoption of various programs
  • Contribute to the Technology organization's development, supporting leaders and teams in navigating complex environments
  • Partner with the CTO and leadership team to define and implement standards for high-performance engineering teams
  • Foster seamless cross-functional collaboration across the People Experience organization
  • Enable confident, data-informed decisions on complex people and organizational issues
  • Elevate leadership effectiveness by coaching senior executives on talent strategy and employee experience
  • Lead Marqeta-wide people initiatives by providing HR expertise and executing performance management initiatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience as a People Business Partner (HRBP) or in other talent roles
  • At least 5 years focused on partnering with technical leaders/organizations, ideally within a technology company
  • Experience in driving change management, leadership changes, organization design, talent strategy, performance management, coaching, executive relationship building
  • Analytical mindset and deep understanding of organizational dynamics
  • Experience designing org structures and rethinking performance management
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience; advanced degree in Human Resources or related area + PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Experience supporting C-suite leader(s)
