About the role
- Lead quality performance across multiple facilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements
- Act as the primary regional contact for customer quality concerns, audits, and performance reviews
- Drive customer-facing root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Monitor key metrics (Return Material Authorizations, Cost of Poor Quality, customer complaints, delivery performance)
- Plan, conduct and report on various audits (internal, customer, third-party)
- Lead and develop regional quality personnel
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Quality Engineering to support OEM & Commercial growth initiatives
- Approximately 25% travel across Company sites, customers and suppliers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience serving as a QMS Management Representative or equivalent leadership role
- Experience managing multi-site or regional responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the metals industry, preferably distribution and/or fabrication of long products (tube, pipe, bar)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience providing multi-site direction to Quality and/or Operations teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent technical experience
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
