- Oversee all aspects of store operations
- Lead teams, drive performance, manage budgets
- Ensure a safe, organized, and customer-focused environment
- Develop future leaders within the organization
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate store team members
- Manage store operations to meet budget, sales, and donor value goals
- Schedule and maintain labor and payroll within policy guidelines
- Ensure proper stewardship and processing of donations within 24 hours
- Maintain store image, safety, loss prevention, and security standards
- Stay current on retail trends, pricing, and competitive practices
- Lead operations using Goodwill’s Guiding Principles and performance metrics
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (retail preferred)
- Associate degree in business or related field preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Basic computer and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Expected to work Mondays, Fridays, at least three Saturdays per month, and the first and last day of each month
- Must open the store at least 2 days/week and close at least 2 days/week
