About the role
- Own the technical execution layer of Mariner’s marketing ecosystem, including tagging, platforms, API connections, signal quality, and technical QA.
- Oversee the technical accuracy, consistency, and performance of ad operations and marketing technology across channels and platforms.
- Ensure campaigns are properly tagged, trackable, measurable, and connected across systems.
- Lead technical execution and ensure accuracy of account structures, trafficking and tracking templates, parameters, platform setup, website tagging and pixel deployment, QA, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
- Ensure flawless technical execution across digital channels, including programmatic display and video, social, OTT/CTV, and emerging paid platforms.
- Design tagging and tracking architectures that support future MMM, MTA, and incrementality testing frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in ad operations, marketing technology, or digital marketing operations
- Expertise in ad-serving tools, tag management systems, and marketing automation platforms
- Demonstrated understanding of how data moves across systems (e.g., CRM to ad platforms to analytics tools)
- Strong understanding of UX/CX best practices for tag implementation, including data layers, GTM, and hidden fields
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to guide non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and data quality.
