About the role

  • Help shape a winning, measurable portfolio strategy.
  • Investigate and evaluate growth opportunities for Marigold's Enterprise portfolio, leveraging martech expertise.
  • Track and analyze emerging customer and market trends and the portfolio's market position.
  • Support development of frameworks to evaluate, forecast and measure success of strategic investments.
  • Build and maintain assets to empower the organization to understand and evangelize the strategy and portfolio story.
  • Deliver strategic insights via analysis and research to support success.
  • Conduct analyses across sales, market, customer and product data to inform actionable intelligence and succinct conclusions.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the portfolio.
  • Evaluate potential addressable markets and target verticals and how they drive strategy.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years' experience in the marketing technology industry, with experience in at least one of Marigold's offerings (digital engagement, marketing automation, messaging, loyalty, personalization, customer data platform).
  • Direct experience delivering strategic planning and/or solutions to customers in these areas (ideal).
  • Informed point-of-view about the martech ecosystem, integration, optimization, adoption and architecture trends.
  • Insights and opinions on how brands build relationships with consumers.
  • Able to navigate and re-balance workstreams within a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communicator; able to build rapport and work cross-functionally with leaders.
  • Able to discern the most valuable insights from research and present them concisely and visually.
  • Present educated, informed point-of-view to diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep curiosity for translating data into actionable insights; resourceful sourcing of data; comfortable in spreadsheets and strategic decks.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing technology and market trends.
  • Autonomous work ethic and motivation to work remotely while coordinating globally.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, software, business, marketing/communications or relevant field (required).
  • Skilled with data analysis and analytics tools such as Sheets, Excel and/or BI tools.
