About the role

  • Senior leader accountable for overall performance of a defined geographic region (Midwest) within Marathon Health.
  • Own full P&L for the region including labor, supplies, and expenses; drive performance against budget.
  • Champion operational discipline, quality, safety, and infection control; lead adoption of standardized systems and audits.
  • Hire, develop, lead, and train clinical teammates; oversee staffing, performance management, and teammate engagement.
  • Drive visit volume, engagement, participation rates, and enrollment activities to grow patient membership.
  • Provide compliance leadership, coordinate health center workflows, and prioritize tasks to maximize patient and client success.
  • Measure success via P&L results, retention, teammate engagement, hiring time-to-fill, patient engagement, and NPS.

Requirements

  • Min 5 – 7 years of leadership experience with proven success in healthcare operations, multisite services, or a comparable industry.
  • Proven leadership experience developing and building teams
  • Demonstrated full P&L responsibility for a large business unit or division.
  • Expertise in building and leading high-performing teams across clinical, operational, and business functions.
  • Passion for patient-centered care and teammate engagement.
  • Strong operational “chops” with experience driving management systems, standards, and disciplined execution at scale.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to build and sustain executive-level partnerships.
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and business judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed, fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Experience in value-based healthcare, employer-sponsored healthcare, or population health management preferred.
