About the role
- Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions
- Address routine queries from internal and external customers
- Maintain control of all security/property documents
- Ensure accuracy in preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals
- Assist with post funding execution of legal amendments required for the land title office
Requirements
- General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Previous banking experience is an asset
