About the role
- Lead and support digital transformation initiatives across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle
- Execute fiscal year category planning through strategic stakeholder alignment and leveraging prior year metrics
- Provide market analyses and recommendations for strategic supplier relationships and competitive bids
- Lead end-to-end market exercises (RFx) from requirements gathering to contract execution
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend supplier consolidation and alternative procurement solutions
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Build and maintain executive stakeholder relationships and provide cross-functional contract support with security, architecture, PMO, and legal
- Use data analytics tools to collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data and provide regular reporting and actionable insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers; manage supplier performance through KPIs and quarterly business reviews
- Oversee procurement operations including invoice validation, allocation, approval, supplier escalation management, budget reporting, and contract lifecycle management
- Reports to the Procurement Director; no direct reports; located onsite at Mansfield Oil Company headquarters in Gainesville, Georgia
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field OR completion of an Associate’s degree with relevant experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in procurement and category management
- Experience utilizing data analytics to manage procurement processes
- Proven experience in category management, market analysis, sourcing, and supplier management
- Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa) and contract management systems
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion
- Exceptional negotiation skills and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally
