About the role
- Coordinate and communicate corporate continuous improvement strategies into each Cluster location (Queretaro, Dunlap, Portage).
- Coordinate continuous improvement programs execution, elaborate planning and schedules of areas and/or processes to be reviewed together with area responsible person, as well as work groups creation.
- Lead and develop each manufacturing location continuous improvement managers to achieve the corporate strategy and KPI’s.
- Monitor improvement actions to ensure linkage to P+L.
- Offer training to defined work team, informing to participants the goal, route, approaching manner and tools to be used in improvement project, to ease work understanding and everybody's participation.
- Provide approval of identified improvements and activity implementation plan to overachieve non material savings target of 120-150%.
- Cluster representative for the Global Continuous improvement network.
- Provide information about new concepts of flows, processes and/or quality tools to associates involved, to motivate them to break paradigms, simulating creativity and effectiveness development.
- Influence concepts and quality tools practice, through regular trainings with associates, to assure use and sharing of defined concepts.
- Participate of meetings with superiors and peers, presenting results and indicators of their responsibility area, suggesting and discussing improvements manners, to effectively assure that expected results are achieved and exceeded.
- Comply with internal safety and environment standards.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures with a high focus of production basics.
- Remain updated as to environmental goals and targets, aspects and impacts related to their activities and company's Management Policy.
- Responsible for leading the development of CI team and function.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
- 8 years in industrial manufacturing
- 3 years in strategic lean manufacturing leadership
- Experience in international matrix organization preferred
