About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of server administrators and engineers.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
- Monitor server performance and optimize for efficiency.
- Act as SPOC for vulnerability mitigation within the server domain.
- Plan and execute server-related projects (migrations, upgrades, cloud integration).
- Maintain regular connects with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in server administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Multi cloud, Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
