About the role
- Manage and grow new and existing customers, generating sales opportunities using Magnet Forensics’ products, solutions and services
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly territory plans
- Prospect for new clients within law enforcement and government organizations
- Conduct marketing lead and opportunity qualification
- Prepare and deliver in-market customer face-to-face presentations and facilitate technical product demonstrations
- Manage product trial lifecycle
- Accurately complete quoting process and ensure comprehensive records for accounting purposes
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales activities in Magnet’s CRM system
- Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis to ensure Magnet is providing the most comprehensive product to customers
- Proactively position positive business outcomes to address customer business problems
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a direct or indirect software sales role
- Ability to be persuasive and strong negotiation skills
- Previous Law Enforcement or Digital Forensic experience an asset
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
- Experience preparing and delivering face-to-face customer presentations and technical product demonstrations
- Experience managing product trial lifecycle
- Experience accurately completing quoting process and maintaining comprehensive records for accounting purposes
- Experience maintaining complete and accurate sales records in a CRM system
- Experience conducting marketing lead and opportunity qualification
- Experience conducting customer needs analysis and positioning business outcomes
