• Work on a cross-functional team bridging design, fabrication, and metrology aimed at understanding and mitigating discrepancies between simulated and real-world waveguide behavior
• Develop pipelines for analyzing large simulation and experimental datasets describing waveguide structure, properties, and key performance indicators
• Develop robust optimization algorithms that automate the inclusion of manufacturing tolerances into the waveguide design process
• Contribute to delivering the highest performing and lowest cost waveguides in the AR industry
