About the role
- Design turbojet engine components and subsystems using Siemens NX, leveraging tools such as CAD, CFD, and FEA. Produce 3D models and 2D drawings optimized for manufacturing and performance.
- Participate in concept generation, trade studies, prototyping, testing, and iteration. Engage directly with test teams to validate your hardware.
- Work closely with fabrication, machining, test, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of components.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in propulsion, powertrain, or mechanical assemblies involving high-speed rotating hardware.
- Proficient in Siemens NX and familiar with PLM tools like Teamcenter.
- Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 for tolerance control and manufacturability.
- Strong base in structures, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with prototyping and testing; comfortable in lab and shop environments.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
