About the role
- Work alongside office and field employees to deliver large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects
- Support project execution by preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, project correspondence, field questions, and job write-ups
- Master HVAC and plumbing systems through study and mentorship from skilled professionals
- Manage scheduling and logistics to oversee job progress and track equipment and material deliveries
- Coordinate with Senior Project Managers and engage with all levels and functions across the organization
- Contribute to new construction, retrofit/special projects, service, building performance, and performance contracting efforts
- Drive project success by taking initiative, solving problems independently, and ensuring projects stay on schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work (whether in school, extracurriculars, or previous jobs)
- Strong interest in and natural aptitude for mechanical systems
- Highly motivated and hardworking
- Collaborative and easy to work with
- Adaptable and quick to adjust to changing priorities
- Skilled at balancing attention to detail with a big-picture perspective
- Initiative to learn and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working alongside both office and field employees and reporting to Senior Project Managers
