About the role
- Work in partnership with our account managers (deploying defend and grow strategies) proactively identifying and following up on all our sales lead generation opportunities, helping to maximise sales aligned to our panels business plans (extensive use of MI)
- Own a segment of accounts to develop and help grow, respond to sales enquiries and, with a growth mindset, generate sales opportunities
- Quality Fact Finds conducted with Advisers, and opportunity spotting, to generate referrals for our Account Managers. This drives AM Activity, quotes, and new business flows.
- Support our advisers with their product, proposition, and pre-sales enquiries.
- Promote to maximise the use with our extensive range of tools and calculators
- Help Advisers to navigate our systems (to drive digital adoption), to become self-sufficient and commercial.
- Further, guide service enquiries to the right place and where right to do so, facilitate service issue resolutions when all else has failed, through the escalation process.
Requirements
- Influence with positive intent
- Communication, influence and stakeholder manage with sales audiences
- Shape, design and deliver to train/upskill new Consultants
- Proactive support to new starts as they embed on panel
- Self-starter, self-motivated, ability to prioritise own workload and flag pain points with solutions
- Deputising for SSMs, ability to problem solve and manage challenges
- Project / issue management. Facilitation with the problem statement, bring Adviser insight and sell the impact assessment (link back to influencing skills to positively drive change)
- Commercial focus with business planning, making the right decisions growth priorities
- Extensive knowledge with our wide range of propositions

- Relevant professional qualifications (R01 and R04 or equivalent) or working towards.
