About the role
- Review current Real Estate application and data architecture to determine alignment with broader Private Markets target architecture.
- Design the Real Estate target architecture and architectural roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the broader target architecture for Private Markets and Asset Management.
- Provide guidance over the development of Real Estates data domain in alignment with the wider Asset Management Data Strategy and Private Markets Transformation.
- Work with the Enterprise Architect for Asset Management, contributing to the overall target architecture for the Private Markets Data Platform.
- Design and review solutions within Real Estate and the wider Private Markets investment desks, ensuring they align with architectural principles.
- Provide guidance and consultation for Business Analysts, Software and Data Engineers, and project managers.
- Input into the strategic aspects of projects and solutions and provide Technical and Business Subject Matter Expertise on a broad range of topics across Real Estate and Private Markets.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Asset Management Business and Technology with a specific background in Real Estate and wider Private Markets.
- Previous experience of working with Real Estate Asset Management platforms such as Yardi Voyager, Argus (Enterprise, Developer, and Taliance).
- Working knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
- Understanding of key data engineering infrastructure concepts and patterns such as relational databases, data lakes, ETL pipelines.
- Excellent data modelling skills.
- Experience supporting different phases of Solution architecture delivery from initiation through to implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the solution development lifecycle and system development approach.
- Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- EA Repository experience with an industry leading EA tool e.g. SNOW APM, UPMX and Designer desirable, but not necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail.
