About the role

  • Lead and manage the neuropsychology team, including hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand neuropsychology services in alignment with the company’s mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive telehealth innovation and optimize service offerings.
  • Work with adults to provide comprehensive neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and psychological evaluations.
  • Interpret a broad spectrum of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries with occasional hands-on test administration as needed.
  • Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s assigned psychometrist and psychometrist assistants, ensuring accurate test administration, scoring, and overall quality control.
  • Conduct feedback sessions for patients and their families, particularly creating feedback videos to communicate test results, explain findings, and provide guidance on next steps
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to both adult and pediatric neuropsychologists, ensuring high standards of patient care and ethical practice.
  • Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with neuropsychological and cognitive disorders, including those with brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health disorders, and developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure the development of comprehensive neuropsychological reports, treatment plans, and recommendations for patients.
  • Work closely with the technology team to ensure telehealth tools and platforms are optimized for neuropsychological evaluations, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Educate and train staff on best practices for delivering neuropsychology services remotely.
  • Develop and refine protocols for neuropsychological assessments and interventions that can be effectively implemented in a telehealth setting.
  • Monitor and analyze patient outcomes to continuously improve service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure all services are compliant with state and federal regulations, and follow best practices for telehealth delivery.
  • Collaborate with other clinical leaders (psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, etc.) to ensure integrated, holistic care for patients.
  • Work with marketing and business development teams to promote neuropsychological services.
  • Contribute to the development of educational materials, resources, and training programs to enhance patient and staff knowledge of neuropsychological services.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in neuropsychology, particularly as they pertain to telehealth delivery.
  • Promote a culture of innovation by exploring new technologies, assessment methods, and treatment modalities that can enhance neuropsychological care.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral program, with a preferred specialization in neuropsychology.
  • One year predoctoral internship with clinical training in neuropsychology preferred
  • Two years postdoctoral experience or fellowship in neuropsychology or significant experience in psychological or psychoeducational assessment
  • Experience with virtual psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment, including the use of remote testing tools and telehealth platforms.
  • Management experience with demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and mentor psychometrists, psychometrist assistants, and other clinical staff
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical guidelines and standards in clinical practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex findings and feedback clearly to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Effective therapeutic communication skills, particularly in explaining test results and providing feedback in an accessible and compassionate manner.
