About the role

  • Lead the APS Business Team in AfMEI
  • Assume full ownership and accountability for the regional business's EBITDA
  • Guide the sales managers to develop a detailed sales strategy
  • Develop strategic options for how to create value, including new Business Models and Channels To Market
  • Build together with New Business Development (NBD) team a growth funnel
  • Control (T&E) budget within agreed upon limits
  • Develop dashboard and KPI’s for monitoring success of sales strategy execution
  • Implement a leadership and training plan for organizational capability

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business, industrial marketing, science or engineering
  • 20-25 years of experience in diverse range of technical, business and/or commercial roles
  • Background in driving growth projects with customers from concept to commercialization
  • Background in Compounds and or Masterbatch businesses
  • Experience in driving complex collaborative growth projects
  • Committed to ensuring and implement highest safety and ethics policies and standards
  • Ability to interface at very senior levels at customers
  • Experience in manage and prioritize a portfolio of project activities
  • Knows the concepts of stage gate process
