About the role

  • Ensure successful management of accounts from the execution to completion of client projects
  • Serve as the primary client contact and responsible for facilitating and tracking projects and financial deliverables
  • Work closely with project team members to communicate client needs and expectations
  • Prepare for and lead internal and client status meetings
  • Understand and ensure the team follows all client required standard operating procedures and requirements
  • Alert internal departments of resourcing needs
  • Draft scope of work and budgets based on client direction
  • Monitor and adhere to approved budgets and report changes to client in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate financial spreadsheets to support internal and client needs
  • Provide timely and accurate project status updates and client requested reports
  • Drive organic growth on assigned accounts by maintaining excellent, positive client relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 plus years of account management experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Excellent project management skills, including organization, prioritization, and delegating
  • Demonstrated understanding of the clinical development process and strategic communication planning
  • Excellent financial acumen
