About the role
- Support the Fisheries Team in the delivery of the certification schemes, primarily MSC Fisheries, and Marin Trust.
- Management of subcontractors, and input and maintenance of the platforms used by the team for audit planning and financial reporting.
- Support LRQA’s Quality Team ensuring that documentation, control manuals and operating procedures are fit for purpose and comply with accreditation body and scheme owner requirements.
- Contribute to internal and external audit and review processes as required.
Requirements
- A strong grasp of administrative programmes/software and database management.
- Able to work both as part of a team and, where required, without supervision including prioritising, planning, and scheduling work effectively.
- Analytical approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with finance platforms
- An interest in marine science/aquaculture.
- Experience with administering company compliance requirements
- Prior experience of accredited certification schemes and auditing, particularly in schemes such as Marine Stewardship Council or Marin Trust
- Second or subsequent languages (other than English).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office.
- Flexible approach to working hours where required.
