About the role

  • Manage a portfolio of properties for investment grade Corporate landlord’s
  • Provide support to the Senior Property Manager and the wider corporate team
  • Manage the tenancies of a group of properties from the commencement of the tenancy until the end of the tenancy
  • Check and adhere to landlords’ management instructions
  • Issue instructions for management inspections and safety inspections
  • Organize for remedial works to be completed
  • Advise Asset Manager/Managing Agents of want of repairs
  • Deal promptly with correspondence from tenants/landlords
  • Conduct site visits and respond to complaints
  • Finalize the release of the security deposit on relevant parties
  • Liaise closely with letting offices and client account departments
  • Ensure that appropriate charges are made for all services rendered
  • Deal with landlord statement queries and extensions/renewals

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and organised individual who can use initiative to solve problems
  • Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication both verbal and written
  • Preference for candidates with professional body training exams with either an ARLA, RICS, IRPM or ARMA certification or be prepared to undertake the exam within the first 6 months of joining
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have ability to work from both home and Head Office in Reading
