About the role

  • Lead enterprise solution architecture modeling and design for the M&A group
  • Collaborate with cross-domain architects, engineering, business, and product teams to deliver domain-driven, scalable, service-based solutions
  • Implement and enforce architecture governance to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality
  • Develop blueprint architectures, multi-year transition plans, and modernization recommendations
  • Craft high-level and detailed designs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Partner with Lean Portfolio Management and Agile Program Management Office to define vision and development value streams
  • Promote Continuous Delivery Pipeline, DevSecOps capabilities, and reuse of code/components
  • Deliver architecture aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards and advocate for models and patterns that guide solution decisions

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on design and implementation experience in IT
  • 3+ years of experience in application development, middleware, database management or operations, security, or integration
  • Prior cloud experience
  • Previous experience as a Solution Architect
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, especially wealth management
  • Experience with domain-driven architecture, microservices, and API design
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, Glue, Lambda, and RDS
  • Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or Kinesis
  • Proficiency in defining current and future state architecture models
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platform, security best practices, and the Well-Architected Framework
  • Experience migrating monolithic on-prem applications to the cloud using refactoring, re-architecting, and re-platforming approaches, including 12-factor methodology
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, automated deployments, and containerization
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to consult with customers, and experience presenting to executive management
  • Understanding of agile methods (SAFe) and ability to support agile product teams
  • Preference: AWS Certified Solutions Architect
